Cheese Steak Sandwiches

To make 1 sandwich

1/4 cup sliced onions
Oil (for the grill)
Several thin slices of roast beef
1 fresh bun, top and bottom, of your choice
    (usually these are long, about 7 inches,
    although hamburger buns can also be used)
Cheese slices (provolone is a good choice)
Lettuce
Tomato slices

Lightly brown sliced onions in a greased frying pan.

Add sliced meat and stir until hot.

Heat bun just until warm but not toasty; layer beef and onions, cheese, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes on bottom half of bun.

Add top half of bun, press together lightly, and eat at once.
